Authorities are seeking information on the slashing of tires in a Gardnerville Ranchos neighborhood during the evening of Jan. 14.
Linda Drive resident Marian Callison said her son was visiting her and someone slashed his brand new tires.
Callison said her and her husband's cars were untouched.
"These hoodlums need to be stopped.," she said.
Sgt. Jim Halsey confirmed at least five people reported their tires had been slashed sometime between 7 p.m. and 5:45 a.m. on Kimmerling Road and Linda Drive.
A similar incident occurred Jan. 12, when a number of vehicles had their tires slashed behind Buckaroo's in Gardnerville.
Anyone with information should contact the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
