Parts of Western Nevada could see several inches of snow over the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday according to a special statement issued this morning by the National Weather Service.
Snow will make it down to Carson Valley by Sunday night and stick around through Monday.
Many Valley locations could receive up to a foot of snow while the Lake Tahoe basin and the foothills could see a foot.
