Knitting class Thursday at senior center

Linda Sawtelle teaches the Creativity through Knitting and Crocheting class, 9 a.m. to noon, Thursday Jan. 17 at the Douglas County Senior Center, 2300 Meadow Lane in Gardnerville.

Sawtelle has 48 years of knitting experience and has been crocheting for 20 years. Each month the class enjoys a tea and a new theme-related project.

There is no fee for the class but classroom space is limited. Call the senior center to confirm interest in the class, 783-6455.
