Illinois Sen. Dick Durbin will be visiting Minden 5 p.m. Tuesday to meet with supporters and undecided caucus-goers ahead of the Jan. 19 Democratic caucuses.
The event will be held at 88 Cups Coffee Shop, 1663 Lucerne St. in Minden and is free and open to the public.
On Thursday, U.S. Air Force Gen. Merrill "Tony" McPeak attended the Douglas County Central Committee meeting.
