A Mexican national who authorities say has been deported twice is scheduled to appear in Douglas County District Court this morning on a change of trafficking in cocaine.

Trinidad Garcia-Lugo, 30, was one of two men arrested in early December after a month-long investigation by the Douglas Street Enforcement Team and the Tri-NET drug task force.

Radon will be on the agenda at the Douglas County School Board of Trustees meeting 3:30 p.m. today at Kingsbury Middle School.

The gas has become an issue in the pending closure of the middle school with parents fighting to keep Kingsbury open and close Zephyr Cove, which has long had radon issues.

Rain or snow is likely today, depending on how high you are. The accumulations is forecast to be less than an inch.

It will turn sunny again by Friday at the latest, according to the National Weather Service.
