Darcie D. Sims, a psychotherapist specializing in grief management, is to present "The Language of Grief, The Language of Hope" on Saturday at the Carson Nugget.
The all-day seminar, sponsored by The Compassionate Friends, Northern Nevada Chapter, is open to the public, bereaved families and professionals.
Continuing education credits are available for the workshop scheduled from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
Registration is $40 and includes the program, materials, a continental breakfast and buffet lunch.

The Compassionate Friends is an organization for families who have experienced the death of a child at any age.
