I know there's a heavy snow warning, but this is ridiculous.
If you can't read the yardstick, it says 9 inches of snow have fallen in Genoa since 1 p.m. That's about 3/4s of an inch an hour. The National Weather Service says stay home and that 2-3 inches will be falling an hour through Sunday. In all 20 inches of snow in some foothill locations. My correspondants in the center of the Valley say it's not much different there.
Chains or snow tires are required on all routes. Take this seriously, there's a lot of snow out there.
