Sierra Crest Academy hosting March 5 fundraiser

Sierra Crest Academy, Douglas County's only public charter school, is raising money to keep its doors open.

The school is hosting a spaghetti feed fundraiser 5:30 to 8 p.m. on March 5.

The event will feature bingo, student project displays, fencing demonstrations, a silent auction and a kid's room.

Cost is $5 a person and $20 for a family in advance, or $7 a person and $25 a family at the door.

Sierra Crest Academy is located at 1701 Lucerne St. in Minden.
