Lee F. Raker


A memorial service is 1 p.m. Saturday at Veterans of Foreign War Post 1881 in Cheyenne, Wyo., for Lee F. Raker, 82, who died Feb. 10, 2008.

Born Nov. 25, 1925, to Fred and Alice Raker in Reno, Mr. Raker served in the Pacific theater Navy in World War II.

He retired in 1980 from truck driving with Consolidated Freightways in Cheyenne. He enjoyed the outdoors and his family.

He is survived by his sister, Jean (Raker) Mentaberry; brother, John Raker; sons, Frank Raker, Allen Raker and Matt Raker; two grandchildren, Elizabeth Raker and Raymond Raker.

Mr. Raker was preceded in death by wife, Norma Raker; his parents, Fred Raker and Alice Raker; and brother, Don Raker.
