Garvice P. Vienneau

1919-2008

Garvice Vienneau, 88, a 30-year Northern Nevada resident, died Feb. 5, 2008, in Carson City. Born April 8, 1919, Mr. Vienneau was the last surviving child born in a very large family to Louis and Jane Vienneau. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret, of 67 years. Among survivors are his sons, Robert and Stanley Vienneau and his daughter, Sharon Birmingham.

Mr. Vienneau lived more than 50 years in Lyons Falls, N.Y. During that period of time he was employed as a superintendent of Gould Paper Co. After his retirement he moved to Northern Nevada.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and motorcycling. He was also a great cribbage player.

Mr. Vienneau served in the Navy during World War II. No services are scheduled at this time.
