Former first lady Hillary Clinton is leading rival Sen. Barack Obama in the Democratic race for California's delegates with about 15 percent of precincts reporting, according to the California Secretary of State's Office.
Clinton is leading Obama 54.8 percent to 31.8 percent.
John Edwards, who dropped out of the race last week received 11 percent of the vote.
Republican Sen. John McCain is ahead of chief rival Mitt Romney 43.1 percent to 11.8 percent.
Mono, Alpine and El Dorado counties have yet to report results to the state.
