Masonic Lodge No. 33 wins Silver State Award

Carson Valley Masonic Lodge No. 33 received recognition for excellence for the fifth consecutive year at the 144th annual Communication of the Grand Lodge of Mason in Nevada. The award is presented to lodges that complete requirements established by the Grand Lodge of Nevada by demonstrating competent administration, education, member self-sufficiency, leadership, Masonic youth group participation, public school support and fellowship, fun, and public service activities.

Carson Valley Lodge is one of the few lodges to earn the Silver State Award, which it has won every year since its inception in 2004. It is the only lodge in Nevada to earn the award five times.

Carson Valley Lodge continues to add new members and has been part of Carson Valley since 1914. Lodge No. 33 meets 7 p.m. the third Tuesday of the month. Information, 783-3444.
