A 39-year-old Gardnerville woman was charged Tuesday with child endangerment after she reportedly admitted smoking marijuana with her teenage children.

Susann Denise Sepeda was jailed on $56,000 bail on two charges of child endangerment, two charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and possession of a dangerous drug.

Her first court appearance is Friday.

Sepeda was arrested shortly before 9 p.m. Tuesday at Cardiff Drive and Guiness Way in Chichester Estates when deputies were called on a report of a suspicious vehicle.

According to reports, Sepeda walked back to the patrol car and told the deputy she was teaching her son to drive.

Deputies noted a strong odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle, Sepeda, her son and 14-year-old daughter.

Sepeda reportedly told the deputy she ingested a 2-inch marijuana cigarette when she saw the patrol car.

The teenagers told deputies they had shared two bowls of marijuana with their mother. They said they tossed the bowl out of the vehicle, but deputies were unable to locate it.

The 14-year-old was released to Child and Protective Services.

The boy was placed in juvenile detention.

A 52-year-old Stateline man who claimed Wells Fargo "electronically robbed" him of $10,000 was jailed for disorderly conduct and trespassing.

Todd Tomek was arrested Dec. 15 at the Gardnerville bank branch when he refused to leave.

East Fork Justice Jim EnEarl reduced bail to $187 cash and set a Dec. 24 hearing.

Tomek said Wells Fargo refused to investigate his claim and closed his account.

"They made it so I couldn't even come in and talk about it," Tomek said.

Tomek pleaded not guilty to disorderly conduct and said he would enter a plea to trespassing after he consults with his court-appointed lawyer, Derrick Lopez.

He said he would be unable to raise the bail.
