Musicians of any acoustic instrument of any level of experience or those who don't play but want to sing along are welcome. Minden

Carson Valley Inn entertainment

Hindsight appears through Sunday and various duos entertain on Monday nights. Cabaret Lounge entertainment is presented with no cover and no minimum in 45-minute shows at 7:30, 8:30, 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30 p.m.

Northern Nevada band Hindsight plays a variety of rhythm and blues, classic rock 'n' roll and pop music. The group is led by keyboardist and sax virtuoso Larry Waller, features Adina Pearl on vocals, Terry Caldwell on guitar, Leonardo Fields on bass and Derrick Autry on drums.

Melissa Dru takes the Cabaret Lounge stage Tuesday and plays until Aug. 31. Melissa Dru and her band entertain with top 40, classic rock and pop music. Their style and stage presence appeal to a wide range of audiences. The band is Dru on vocals, rhythm guitar and percussion; Mick Hampson on vocals and guitar; Mike Makarov on bass and vocals and Nathan Rodney on drums and vocals.

for 'Hanging Tree'

Tickets are on sale for "The Curse of the Hanging Tree" at the Carson Valley Museum & Cultural Center, 1477 Highway 395 in Gardnerville and the Genoa Court House Museum. Performances are 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. today and 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday in downtown Genoa.

Tickets are $15 per person. Advanced tickets are recommended. To order by credit card, call 782-2555. There is an additional $1 charge for postage and handling.


Music poolside at Walley's

Fabrizio entertains by the patio and pool, 5-8 p.m. Saturday, at David Walley's Resort, Hot Springs & Spa, 2001 Foothill Road in Genoa. Keyboardist and singer Fabrizio plays songs from the 1930s to current hits from Maroon 5 and Cold Play.
