A man arrested in a July 25 drug raid is scheduled to be arraigned in district court this morning. Isaias Leon, 24, is accused of selling cocaine within 1,000 feet of Lampe Park. The other three were cleared of charges, but were turned over to immigration officials for deportation.

Tuesday's election becomes official today if Douglas County commissioners vote to approve a canvass of returns. They meet at 4:30 p.m. in the commission chambers for what is most times a formality.

The National Weather Service is expecting a front to roll in that will bring slightly cooler temperatures over the next few days. Today should be sunny and clear with a high of 89 degrees. Tuesday, winds will pick up and the temperature will drop below the mid-80s. Don't get used to it. Temperatures will be back up over 90 by Friday or so.
