Emergency personnel were called to the Comstock Country Mobile Home and RV Resort on the report of a fire just before 10 p.m. Monday.
The fire burned in a trash trailer near the Carson Street edge of the neighborhood, located on Old Clear Creek Road near Costco and Bodines on the southern end of Carson City.
The blaze was contained to the large receptacle, which had been filled with various types of refuse. No one was injured.
The cause of the fire is unknown, according to the Carson City Fire Department.
