Carson Valley Inn celebrates 24 years

The Carson Valley Inn turns 24 on Sunday and is celebrating with a full day of points bonuses for club members plus free celebration refreshments.

Inn Club members will earn quadruple points all day on all slots, videos, table games and keno. Complimentary anniversary cake and champagne will be served to guests 21 and over in the center of the casino from 2 to 3 p.m. and again from 7 to 8 p.m.

The casino first opened August 10, 1984.

Still under its original owners, Jeane and Patrick Mulreany, Carson Valley Inn has grown into a popular destination on the east side of the central Sierra range through a number of expansions and additions to the hotel, casino and food service outlets.

At 24, the Inn employees more than 500 people.

The facility now includes 152 hotel rooms, a 75-room motor lodge, 59 RV sites, a casino, three dining establishments, two lounges, nightly live cabaret entertainment, more than 6,000 square feet of convention and banquet space, an indoor pool/spa/fitness facility, massage and facial therapy, the Chapel at the Inn, a Shell convenience store and more.
