Students, teachers and staff at Meneley Elementary School in the Gardnerville Ranchos practiced an evacuation drill this afternoon.
Douglas County sheriff's deputies were on hand for security and to make sure the drill went well.
Students were evacuated to Rancho Aspen Park.
