Gilman and Centerville Lane between Gardnerville and the Ranchos is going to be subject to road construction next week. According to the Nevada Department of Transportation, paving on the road between Highway 395 and a mile west of the highway will start 6 a.m. Monday and lat through 6 p.m. Thursday. Expect 20-minute delays, flaggers and whole deal.
Highway 50 won't be much fun to drive either with lanes down to one periodically over the next couple of months. Two seasons, folks and winter is just about done.
Warm temperatures will peak on Sunday and take a little dive next week. The high today will climb into the 70s, then on Saturday expect 78 and on Sunday a whopping 81. It will cool back down to 70 next week and then toward the end of the following week, drop down to 61. No precipitation is in the forecast for the foreseeable future, and that's not good.
