With the approval of two other festival permits on Candy Dance weekend and reports of an agreement that the other festivals will come under one permit next year, Douglas County commissioners expressed their approval with the Genoa Town Board on Thursday. But, not everyone is happy with the town's decision and there is going to have to be some healing over the next several months.
Don't leave anything light you're attached to lying around outside for the next couple of days. The National Weather Service trotted out the windmill graphic to describe the next couple of days. We'll have winds of 15-20 mph this afternoon and more winds through the weekend. The snow forecast has been delayed until Tuesday.
