Realtor association makes community donations

The Sierra Nevada Association of Realtors has donated more than $7,000 to local charities.

"Each year we raise funds for charities located throughout our area and we look forward to selecting organizations to receive these donations," said President Bill Driscoll, "Our members are committed to giving back to the communities they serve. Our association serves a large geographical area from Fallon and Yerington through Carson City and Carson Valley and up to Stateline."

The Kahle Community Center, Carson City Senior Center, the Family Support Council, Churchill County Senior Center and Meals on Wheels program, the Sierra Nevada Community Land Trust, the Dayton Senior Center and Meals on Wheels program and the Yerington Senior Center and Meals on Wheels program all received donations.
