Carson Valley Inn entertainment


Kristen Lee appears through Sunday and various duos entertain on Monday nights. Cabaret Lounge live entertainment is presented with no cover and no minimum in 45-minute shows at 7:30, 8:30, 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30 p.m.


Georgia-born songwriter Lee has been singing since the age of three. Her stage show features songs from Patti LaBelle to Led Zeppelin. Her band features Joe Cook on guitar and vocals; Edward Watson, keyboards and vocals; John Senchuk, bass and Noah Hungate on drums.


Craig Fletcher takes the Cabaret Lounge stage Tuesday and plays until April 13. Fletcher and Terri Campillo are the Craig Fletcher Duo. Fletcher sings, plays guitar and drums and produces every track of accompanying background music and vocals. Campillo adds vocals and plays percussion and an occasional blues harp.

Stars of Tomorrow coming up


Carson Valley Kiwanis Club's 10th annual Stars of Tomorrow Talent Competition is open to youth in ninth through 12th grades in Carson Valley, Carson City, Dayton and Fallon. Applications are due April 7, auditions are April 19, dress rehearsal is April 25. The Stars of Tomorrow program is April 26 at the CVIC Hall in Minden.

What is It? exhibit


Artisans International Gallery will present an exhibit of work by local area artists on the theme, "What is It?" through April 19.

Shana Morrison plays CVIC Hall

The Carson Valley Arts Council presents singer, songwriter Shana Morrison, 7 p.m. April 12 at the CVIC Hall, 1604 Esmeralda Ave., Minden. Doors open at 6 p.m., concert at 7 p.m. and dessert at 8:30 p.m. A $15 donation will be requested at the door. All proceeds benefit the Carson Valley Arts Council. Acoustic jam


at Eddy Street Book Exchange


Local musicians are invited for an acoustic jam, 2:30 - 5 p.m. April 27, at the Eddy Street Book Exchange. Musicians of any acoustic instrument of any level of experience or those who don't play but want to sing along are welcome. If you would like to play and have some songs to share, bring copies of the lyrics, chord or tab sheets.
