Volunteers needed for library deliveries

The Douglas County Public Library in Minden is looking for volunteers to deliver library materials on Thursday mornings to those who cannot leave their homes.

Volunteers must have a valid driver's license and will drive vehicles supplied by the library. They should enjoy visiting with seniors and other homebound people. Knowledge of the local area is helpful.

Working in pairs, the volunteers would make deliveries between 9 a.m. and noon on Thursdays. If four volunteers come forward, it would not be necessary to work every Thursday.

Those interested in volunteering should call Dan Doyle or Luise Davis, 782-9842.
