"ART/istry," a multimedia exhibit by Carson Valley resident Renee Ekleberry is displayed in the College Gallery at Western Nevada College through Oct. 19.
Ekleberry describes her work as "creativity from your head to the wall" with "trash to treasure" picture frames.
Ekleberry's paintings are done with oil, acrylics, pastels, gouache, watercolor, mixed media, collage and gold, silver and copper leaf. Illustrations are drawn in pen and ink, graphite, color pencil and with PhotoShop. Printmaking processes include etching, block, silkscreen and gicleé.
