An AARP Senior Drivers Safety course sponsored by Douglas County Parks & Recreation Department, is 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sept. 8 at the Kahle Community Center, 236 Kingsbury Grade. Preregistration is required. Call the community center at 586-7271 to sign up. The $10 classroom fee, payable at the start of class, covers the workbook and materials costs. Irvine (Irv) Phillips will be the instructor. Those who complete the class may be eligible for auto insurance discounts.
