Silver Oak Golf Course and Event Center hosts You Can't Say No - You Gotta Go! a statewide fundraising event 3-11 p.m. Sept. 29 to honor the 43 Nevadans who have lost their lives in the war in Iraq and to benefit the Nevada Patriot Fund.
The Nevada Patriot fund was set up in 2003 after the first two Nevadans were lost in Iraq. The fund is a privately funded 501c3 organization that receives 100 percent of its contributions from individuals and business donors.
The fundraiser features a classic car and bike show, military equipment, vendors, music by Papa Clutch and the Shifters, entertainment by Sierra Express and Red Shift and fireworks.
