Park Cattle donates $13,500 to Angora fire fund

Park Cattle Co., a diversified real estate company with holdings in Carson Valley and Stateline including Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course, announced it has donated an additional $13,500 to the Angora fire fund.

Proceeds from Edgewood Tahoe's greens fees on Sept. 3 were originally pledged during the 2007 American Century Tournament in July as part of the ongoing effort to assist the victims of the Angora fire.

Park Cattle previously donated $10,000 to the fund.

"The Park family has been a fixture in South Lake Tahoe for over 125 years and cares deeply about the personal and environmental impact the Angora fire has had on our community," said Park Cattle Co. President Brad Nelson. The Angora Fire Fund and Locals for Locals fund has collected more than $350,000 for the victims of the Angora fire.
