The Douglas Tigers carried a 2-point lead over rival Carson Senators at half time.
The Tigers scored twice in the first half, including a 44-yard run by Brock Peterson and a 44-yard touchdown connection between quarterback Tim Rudnick and fullback Brandon Lowrance. (Yes that is two 44-yard scores, after all, it is almost Halloween).
The Douglas defense had three interceptions in the first half.
