The deadline to submit nominees for the annual community awards is Oct 24.
The Carson Valley Chamber of Commerce & Visitor's Authority, along with The Record-Courier is again sponsoring community awards.
Award winners will be honored at a gala dinner on Nov. 2 at Genoa Lakes. Nominations are being sought for service club of the year, unsung hero of the year, manager/supervisor of the year, business of the year, employee of the year and tourism business of the year.
Submit the name and reason for the nomination by e-mailing editor@recordcourier.com or visit recordcourier.com and print out a nomination form.
Fill it out and return to The Record-Courier or the Carson Valley Chamber of Commerce no later than 4 p.m.
Dinner tickets may be purchased from the chamber.
