Play carnival games, win prizes and help support Toys for Tots and the Carson Valley Community Food Closet at the Carson Valley Cares Carnival, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 17 at Northwest Martial Arts, 1321 Highway 395, Gardnerville.
Cost of admission to the carnival is a donated toy or a non-perishable food item. The more donated, the more tickets for carnival games. Games include turkey bowling, turkey trot cupcake walk, turkey egg drop, bean bag toss and Nintendo Wii.
There will be an opportunity to make a craft or card to be sent to those serving overseas in the armed forces to be received by Christmas.
Toys will be donated to the Toys for Tots program and food items go to the Carson Valley Community Food Closet.
