Katie Kent, daughter of Annette Lilly and James Kent of Gardnerville and Jim Luce, son of Michael and Sandy Luce of Las Vegas and Auburn, Wash., were married, Aug. 24, 2007, during a ceremony at The Ridge Tahoe, Lake Tahoe.
The bride, a graduate of Douglas High School and the University of Nevada, Reno, is a personal banker for Wells Fargo Bank. The groom, a graduate of Green Valley High School and Truckee Meadows Community College, is a sales representative for Southern Wine and Spirits. The couple lives in Reno.
The bride was attended by her maid of honor, Karlie Kent, sister of the bride, and bridesmaids Jennifer VanArsdall, Jillian Mayer, Krissie Thornhill, Melina Mafua and Laumanu Bullard. She was given in marriage by her father James Kent.
The groom was attended by his father, Michael Luce, as the best man, with his brother, Bill Guesman, friends Dake Rasmussen, Weston White, and cousins Cody and Monte Bullock as his gentlemen attendants.
The ceremony was followed with a dinner reception for 150 guests at The Ridge Tahoe. The couple honeymooned in Hawaii.
