Award-winning artist Reiko Hervin will be the demonstrator for the regular Carson Valley Art Association meeting, 1:30 p.m. today in the Elizabeth Johnson room in the Douglas County Public Library, 1625 Library Circle in Minden.
Her theme is "Quick and easy, watercolor pencils on the go!" Before people go on a trip or step out to the back yard, they can pack everything in a little bag, ready to go.
She will show small-sized sketches and some tips to make things easy and have more fun. She is also going to have a one-day workshop on June 3. Contact Hervin at 465-1164 or reikodreamart@gmail.com.
Entry forms for the CVAA Carson Valley Days Show, June 8-10 in the CVIC Hall, will be available at the meeting and at Valley galleries.
