The members of Mu Master Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi are bringing their sorority year to an end with several activities. Chapter members attended the annual Founder's Day celebration recently with the Carson City Beta Sigma Phi Council. At this event, Lucy Corliss of Gardnerville, was named Chapter Woman of the year.
Installation of officers for the 2007-2008 sorority year took place in the Minden home of Virginia King. New officers are Lucy Corliss, president; Barbara Yocum, vice-president; Betty Larrouy, recording secretary; Lela Ott, corresponding secretary; all of Gardnerville; and Virginia King, treasurer; Joanell Cloar, extension officer; both of Minden.
Mu Master concluded this sorority year with a dinner meeting at Two Guys From Italy. Plans are well underway for several activities for the next sorority year which will begin in late August.
