Feedback sought on drinking surveys

The Partnership of Community Resources needs more feedback on the underage drinking surveys they have distributed throughout the community.

About 200 people have responded to the survey tracking the drinking habits of Douglas County residents, but at least 150 more responses are needed to provide information.

"The more results we have, the better the information is," said Melinda Matus of the Partnership. "We want to see where we have problems to provide assistance to our community. This allows us to apply for money for grants for prevention and treatment."

The target age for the survey is 18-24 years old but people over 24 may respond. The survey is 35 check-off questions taking 4-6 minutes to complete. Deadline is June 15.

Call the Partnership of Community Resources at 782-8611 to have a survey picked up or dropped off or mail to: 1528 Highway 395, No. 100, Gardnerville, 89410.
