Douglas County Republican Central Committee will hold its monthly meeting June 14 at the Douglas County Judicial Offices on Buckeye Road, second floor, Minden. Social hour will be 6:30-7 p.m. with coffee and home made cookies served.
From 7-7:30 p.m. "Talking Points" under the direction of Jack Van Dien will be held. Usually one or two topics will be highlighted and members can voice their concerns.
At 7:30 p.m. Chair Maggie Benz will call the meeting to order. The guest speaker is Assemblyman James Settelmeyer, representing Assembly District 39 including Douglas County, parts of Carson City and Lake Tahoe portions of Washoe County.
