People's Powwow is this weekend

The Dresslerville Community Council and Washoe Tribe of Nevada and California will host the People's Powwow which will take place in the Dresslerville Gym in Dresslerville, Saturday and Sunday.

The Saturday event begins with the grand entry 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; then 7 p.m. until closing. Sunday the grand entry will be 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. This is an alcohol and drug-free event.

There will be food booths, a raffle (must be present to win), arts and crafts booths, a contest powwow, tiny tots and free dinner. Admission is free.
