Edna G. Hasal


1924-2007


Edna G. Hasal, 83, a 22 year resident of Minden, died at her home, March 24, 2007.


Mrs. Hasal was born Jan. 1, 1924 in Trenton, N.J. She was a licensed vocational nurse. She was married to Glynord Hasal and lived in Granada Hills, Calif. before moving to Minden.


She was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Peter Edge. She is survived by her husband Glynord A. Hasal of Minden; her children John Gordon Edge Jr., Richard Alan Edge, Stephen Laurance Edge, David Warren Edge, Glynis Littell and Glynord R. Hasal as well as 11 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two nieces.


FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home in Gardnerville. Cremation will take place at FitzHenry's Crematory in Carson City.




Faith S. Myers


1913-2007


Faith S. Myers, 93, died March 27, 2007 in Gardnerville. A lifelong resident of Akron, Ohio, she was born Nov. 1, 1913. Mrs. Myers moved to Gardnerville in 2004 to be near her daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and George Schulz of Gardnerville.


While raising her daughters, Mrs. Myers served for many years as a 4-H leader, Girl Scout leader and Sunday school teacher.


She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Arlo Myers, who died in 1986. She is survived by her daughters Janice Garland of Norcross, Ga.; her daughter Lynn and her husband George Schulz of Gardnerville and grandchildren, Steven Schulz, Scott Schulz, Jeffrey Garland and Nicole Garland.


Arrangements are in the care of FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home in Gardnerville. Memorial donations in her name may be sent to Barton Memorial Hospital Hospice of the Lake and Valley, 1615 Highway 395, Suite C, Minden, NV 89423.
