Cowboys & Angels moves to Pink House

Cowboys & Angels has moved a few blocks to the historic Pink House in Genoa which includes enough space to offer a clothing boutique and day spa services.

The staff at Cowboys & Angels Boutique & Day Spa noticed they have more walk-in traffic because people want to come in to see the house that was built in 1856 by one of the founders of the Mormon Station trading post.

The front room and each of the former bedrooms houses a different station where customers can find ways to indulge themselves with attention to hair, nails, body and skin.

"We're a one-stop shop for pampering and you can get a new outfit on the way," said Kimberly Hunt.

Licensed esthetician Hunt specializes in customized "take me away" facials and peels, eyebrow and lash tinting, make-up application and waxing for men and women.

Masseur David Stewart offers massage therapy in a spa environment. Stewart does deep tissue, sports and reflexology massage. He offers chair massage parties to go or on weekends on the porch of the Pink House.

Stylist Shelley Hull does anything with hair from cuts and color, to special occasion hairdos. Like the other Pink House occupants, Hull offers a flexible schedule with her clients.

Dana Midkiff has 14 years' experience doing full service nails and pedicures, specializing in nail art and acrylic art. Midkiff is set up to do two pedicures at once so that friends or family can come in together.

The idea behind the new Cowboys & Angels is to provide a comfortable atmosphere to enjoy a spa or shopping experience, or both, in the same place.

Karen Holmes' boutique is in the front rooms of the old house with casual to dressy clothes in sizes 2-18 and 1-3x.

Holmes carries shoes, boots, purses, jewelry and gift items such as hand-painted martini glasses.

Cowboys & Angels Boutique & Day Spa is at 193 Genoa Lane. Basic hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, or by appointment. Information at 782-4045.
