CVAA meeting features scratch artist, painting give-away

At the Carson Valley Art Association meeting on Friday, Western Nevada Community College will receive a painting of their choice, from the CVAA art show featured at the Douglas County college through the end of the month.

Also, Margie Leslie will give a demonstration of the scratch art technique, using black ink on white clay board.

The meeting is 1:30-3:30 p.m. at the Douglas County Library in Minden, 1625 Library Lane. For more information, call Leslie at 782-3635.
