The reason we didn't have a result from Thursday night's Douglas County commissioners' meeting on the growth control in Minden is because there wasn't one. We're told the meeting went to at least 11 p.m. before the issue was continued.
The picketers outside the CVIC Hall on Thursday night were from the Coalition for Smart Growth, no doubt in anticipation of having folks from SGI back again. Perhaps someone should work out a regular schedule for picketing so that both sides are there at the same time.
