On Thursday, the Alzheimer's Association is offering a free workshop at the Douglas County Senior Center, 2300 Meadow Lane from 1-3 p.m. Representatives from the Alzheimer's Association will be discussing the topic "Learn How To Partner With Your Doctor."
The workshop is designed for people experiencing memory loss and their care partners. It will teach you: What questions to ask your doctor; what records to keep that will help your doctor and help you get the most out of visits; techniques to strengthen communication between you and the doctor; and how a strong relationship can reduce the stress of managing Alzheimer's disease or dementia.
