River Fork Ranch easement purchased

A conservation easement on the 739-acre River Fork Ranch located at the confluence of the east and west forks of the Carson River has been purchased by the Bureau of Land Management.

Escrow closed on the $4 million sale on June 15. It has been nearly four years since the ranch was placed on the list in October 2003.
