The Carson Valley Hot Shots under-12 softball team won the Carson Valley Classic fastpitch tournament over the weekend at Stodick Park.
On Saturday, the Hot Shots beat the Dayton Diamonds 15-0 and topped the Lassen All-Stars 8-3.
They followed with a 10-0 win over Carson Sharks and opened Sunday with a 6-5 win over the Sharks to advance to the championship game against the Reno Predators.
Carson Valley took a 6-0 win over the Predators to win its third win in the last three weeks.
The Hot Shots are headed to Susanville, Calif., this weekend for another tournament.
Carson Valley's roster includes Amanda Caras, Kelly Sonnemann, Katie Kluever, Kalee Duryee, Taylor McKinnon, Emily Downer, Jenna Geyer, Marlena Martin, Aaliyah Paxson, Mackenzie Parks, Madison Dunleavey and Illiana Brown.
The team is coached by Tom Keck, Lance Caras and Wes Duryee.
