Genoans will meet Tuesday night to decide on whether to keep their fourth town manager, Douglas County. The town board voted in late December to contract out with the county to provide management services. Genoans meet 7 p.m. at the Genoa Town Hall.
The Minden Town Board meets on Wednesday night. Among the items on the agenda should be discussion of the retail project at highways 88 and 395. Minden meets at 6 p.m. in the CVIC Hall.
The weather will be more of the same through Tuesday night with highs around 97 and lows in the 50s. Clouds are predicted to roll in on Wednesday, bringing a slight chance of thunderstorms with them. The forecast calls for all that to clear out by Friday at the latest. The highs are expected to decrease into the lower 90s by the weekend.
