Volunteer Attorneys for Rural Nevada Pro Bono Services Coordinator Odessa Ramirez, presents "Delivery of Pro Bono Services in Rural Nevada," Thursday at the Douglas County Bar Association luncheon at Fiona's restaurant in Minden.
Lunch, including tax and tip, is $17. Registration is at 11:30 a.m. The 60-minute program is at noon and the public is invited.
VARN is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization that believes that all people should have access to the civil justice system. Its mission is to provide free and reduced fee civil legal representation to persons of limited means and domestic violence survivors and to encourage and facilitate the provision of volunteer services by attorneys and others.
