A small unattended pink box found at about 3 p.m. today near East Fork Justice Court in Minden's Judicial and Law Enforcement Center turned out to be harmless.
Members of the Tahoe-Douglas Bomb Squad were called to the scene after it was reported a suspicious package had been found.
The center was evacuated for an hour, with the exception of prisoners in the jail.
The package was X-rayed and determined to be empty.
