- A 44-year-old man who walked away from a substance abuse treatment program before he was to be sent back to prison for felony driving under the influence was arrested Monday in Reno. Jeffrey McManus and Johanna Thomas, 42, were arrested at an apartment they were occupying. Page A2

- A 38-year-old Gardnerville woman was sentenced Jan. 22 to five years in prison for her part in the sale of 30 grams of methamphetamine to undercover officers. Page A3

- The Douglas High School wrestling team captured a share of the Sierra League title, concluding its season with a big win against Reno Friday. The Tigers, by virtue of an early-season loss to Carson and an early-season win over Damonte Ranch, were put in position for the three-way claim to the title when Damonte Ranch beat Carson later in the season. - The Douglas boys' basketball team ran away in the fourth quarter Saturday night, taking a 20-point win over Elko despite not having post players Keith Olson and Joe Nady due to injuries. Page C1
