John Spradley of the local band, the Coppertunes, will be master of ceremonies at an impromptu open mic event at Buckaroos Saloon in Gardnerville on Sunday.
The Coppertunes are a mainly classic rock band made up of Spradley, John and Gina Pettinger.
The Coppertunes perform songs by bands such as the Eagles, Dylan, Led Zeppelin, the Band and Todd Snider.
Spradley said pharmacist Tom Hunter will most likely be showing up with a friend to play classic rock, too.
Open mic will take place from 1-5 p.m. Sunday at Buckaroos, 1435 Highway 395 in Gardnerville. For more information call Buckaroos, 782-9693.
