New personnel join the staff at Villa san Marcel - chef de cuisine P.J. Gentes and bartender Laura Payne.
Owner Sheri Asay will mark the restaurant's one year anniversary Thursday with cake and a complimentary glass of champagne for diners in appreciation of the community's support.
Villa san Marcel features pasta dishes, chicken, fish, steaks, salads, panini of the day at lunch and cioppino on Sunday.
Tuesday is all-you-can-eat pasta night, happy hour is from 4-5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and David Jobe plays live jazz on Saturday nights.
Villa san Marcel is at 1799 B Ironwood Drive in Minden. The restaurant is open for lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and for dinner from 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Info at 783-3211.
