Snow started falling on the Valley floor about 10:30 a.m. Monday morning and is expected to continue throughout the day.
The Weather Channel is reporting an expected 1 to 3 inches of wet snow with the snow showers expected to break before Monday night.
Along with the snow, Valley residents can expect to see 20 to 30 mph winds with stronger gusts on mountain passes and ridge tops.
